Every year, Kibo Slopes Academy holds a prayer day for the students preparing to sit for KCPE - the final National examination in primary school. This year the school has 8 pupils in Grade 8. Out students have worked hard and continue to improve in their performance.
At this year's Prayer Day, we were privileged to host the grade 8 students from our neighboring school, Purple Rose Academy. Teachers, administration, parents of community pupils and the entire Teule family joined hands as Bishop Kariuki and Pastor Ndungu of the Full Gospel churches of Kenya encouraged and prayed for the candidates. Sharing from Jeremiah 1, Bishop reminded us all that God has a plan for each one of us.  
 We thank God for seeing our students through their primary school education.

Every time a visitor comes to the home, our children are reminded that out there, someone cares about them...someone loves them. It gives them that sense of belonging in their community. This month we would like to say special thanks to Gail Herod and the Barranko family for visiting and giving generously to Teule.  Our children loved the football gear and art supplies.  Special thanks to the Kimana Youth Fellowship for visiting in such big numbers and the great fellowship with our children. We were blessed by the assorted donations of food and clothes.
