For the past 20 years we have supported the children of Teule through your generous giving and kindness. May God continually bless you. Please consider helping us to meet some of our current needs.
- Give towards our food budget - every month we need 170,000.00 ($1700) to feed our children
- Dining Hall renovations – tables, floor and seats Ksh. 100,000 ($1000)
- Flip flops 70 pairs a pair costs Kshs. 120 locally( $1.2) total needed Kshs. 8,400.00 ($84.00)
- Exercise books 13400.00 (134.00)
Due to the rising cost of living in our country we have begun a new program to help us meet our running costs and give our children a brighter future:
1. Adopt a Teacher Kshs 15,000/- ($150) Monthly
At Kibo Slopes Academy, we have 11 teachers; a Headteacher, School Administrator and 1 subordinate staff to cater for our children attending the school. Our monthly budget for teachers is Kshs 150,000/- ($1,500).Adopting a teacher program allows our sponsor to give specifically towards the monthly salary for a teacher at our school. This covers the teacher’s gross payment, Health cover (NHIF), The National Social Security Fund (NSSF), net payment and a 27% administration cost which goes to the school admin and other procedural overheads.
2. Adopt a Care Giver Kshs 15,000/- ($150) Monthly
Adopting a care giver program allows our sponsor to give specifically towards the monthly salary of the care giver to our home Chombo Cha Upendo (Vessel of Love) in Loitoktok. This covers the caregiver's gross payment, Health cover, The National Social Security Fund, net payment and a 15% administration cost which goes to other procedural overheads.
We request for your support in adopting either a care giver or teacher every month. By giving towards any of these programs, you are keeping children in this orphanage well taken care of for a month.
